Diego was great but promised things he should not have. They promised to work with insurance company on price and said they could not do that without a signed contract so I signed. Their quote was $18,600 which was more than double any other contractor but they were the only ones who claimed to work with insurance so I went with them. There were several delays with getting the work done. They finished without getting an inspection and had to rip out what they had done, which was good because the drywall finishing "looked like a 3rd grader did it" (that was a quote from the city inspector). They finally completed and had their "engineer" come out to look at it but didn't close the permit or have the city inspector do a final but they were already demanding their final payment of $2300. I told Diego in December that the insurance wasn't coming through for the last amount of $2300 (after paying $16,000) and it would take time to come up with that. The final result looks good but it has been 6 months of hell, extra costs and broken promises to get here.

We have had several home renovation projects done by Portico. They never disappoint. They get discounts from their suppliers which they pass on to their clients. They show up on time and complete the work when they say they will plus they clean up after themselves. And they always come in under budget.
