FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For the vast majority of my work, I charge $65 for the first hour, and then $45 for each additional hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ideally, I prefer to have pictures of areas that clients want worked on, rather than traveling for in person quotes. It's faster for everyone and spares you a $45 travel fee. Once I have a good of want my client wants to achieve, I try to advise them of the necessary materials, or even alternative/cheaper ways to accomplish their project.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Family owns several rental units in the Charlotte metro and maintaining them has required me learn the skills I use in my line of work. My father passed on his carpentry skills to me, just as his father passed them on to him.
