- How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a kid, I would wait for my parents to leave the house so I could rearrange (or even paint I did get in trouble for that one) a room to what I thought was a better way. Ive definitely refined my design style a bit from the days of Smurf Blue walls, but still believe that all design should be fun and reflect the unique personality of the client.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I range from small day projects of painting a wall mural or helping select paint colors to full design services including space planning and construction documents.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I think it is important to hire a designer that you have a connection with, especially with home design. Your home is such a personal space, it is important that you feel your designer truly understands your needs.
