- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers should know that there is always a two hour minimum with all moves and a $100 truck and travel fee for all local moves.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is pretty simple. I will talk to a customer over the phone to give them a good quote. From there I will schedule a date to come out and do a walk-through that way we know exactly the size of our move and what size truck we will need. From there we will schedule a date that the customer would like to be moved. I will then call the customer the morning of their desired move an hour before we head out to leave just to confirm everything.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
At the shop once a week we have a contest to see who can rat and pad certain kind of furniture the fastest and most proficient. The winner usually gets $100. It keeps the guys sharp on their toes and well trained and prepared for those tedious jobs when we are out in the field.
