- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All my prices for basic buttercream cakes and simple buttercream decorations is $4 per person. Covering in fondant is additional and more detailed decorations cost additional. I add the price for extra decorations and fondant to the total, not to the per person price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I have them come for a consultation so we can talk about services and go over your dream dessert.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a teacher at a career college for pastry and am always researching new trends and techniques online. I have an Associates in Baking and Pastry Arts, an Associates in Culinary Arts, and a Bachelor's in Food Service Management. I have worked at other jobs as well over the years including cake bakeries, chocolate shops, and a Pastry Chef at one of the US top 100 restaurants.
