Carmen was excellent! She catered my wedding of about 100 people. The food was excellent and her and her staff were very professional. The kitchen was cleaner than when she arrived. She had plates ready for me and the groom set apart of the guests which was very special for us. She was always quick to respond to my questions and had some great suggestions. Couldn't of asked for a better experience.
This was a Celebration of Life reception in honor of my Dad. The event was held at a community center with a full kitchen and my Mom and I decided that a Personal Chef would be more Special than a normal caterer. And more special it was, as Chef Tyler and his team presented an amazing spread that everyone loved. A dozen tidbits and finger foods that took care of teenagers, younger kids, adults of all ages and every food need from Gluten Free to Nut Free. Simple items like Mini Tortilla Pizzas and Baked Chicken Nuggets combined with more sophisticated dishes like Tuna Tartare and Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus received raves from all. The staff handled the initial surge really well and kept plenty of food refreshed for the full three hours. Only an hour to set up and prepare and only an hour to clean-up was no problem for the well- organized crew. Chef Tyler took the time to clearly understand our needs and wishes, and was extremely accommodating and flexible along the way. All in all a superb performance and I would highly recommend Chef Tyler for any similar event.
Chef Julian has provided exactly what we were looking for: a personal chef to teach us how to prepare and enjoy outstanding meals. He is extremely knowledgeable, very personable and quite capable. We look forward to additional demonstrations!
We needed catering of lunch and dinner for at least 30 days to possibly 1 year, 7 days every week for approximately 100 people with emphasis on vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and special diets. Many caterers with great reviews were easy to dismiss once they were interviewed. Carolina catering delivered what they promised: delicious food at a reasonable price with excellent personal service and a huge selection - even for those special dietary needs. I have used caterers throughout the country to take on this monumental task and no one has delivered the quality, variety, and scrumptious food Carolina Gourmet Catering has. I cannot thank them enough. And, by the way, we are 3 weeks into our project and continue to be very happy with the results. The only problem we have had was running out of food because people have been going back for second and third helpings because the food is so good! Make sure you prepare for this if it's buffet style.
Jessica was fantastic. She was personable, organized and a great chef (of course!) The price was very reasonable for the service provided. She left our kitchen counters clean, our dishwasher full of clean dishes and our tummies full of good food! Highly recommend her for your next party!

My coworkers and I had a GREAT time during our cooking class with The Cook Nook. Catherine was very professional and knowledgeable , she was very helpful, and made the class fun. I have had the opportunity to have Alex perform cooking services at my home on two occasions. We expect to contract him for further activities with friends at our house. Keep in mind, my wife and I have a newborn, so it is difficult to go to restaurants often. For this reason, we decided to experiment with the services of a "personal chef". First of all, the top notch experience of a knowledgable cook in our own home is quite different from the norm. We were apprehensive at first, but due to his bubbly personality and knowledge, it was an experience that we would not get at any restaurant in Manchester. Second, quality of ingredients and cooking materials is top notch. He brought everything, bought in local markets, in addition to some "secret ingredients" he brought from Puerto Rico. We discussed the menu beforehand and he was quite open to appeasing to our tastes, while at the same time, successfully helping us experience new ingredients. Third, the food was amazing. We agreed to try latin american themed dinners (first time a mexican style burrito dinner, second time a puertorrican themed mofongo dinner). I have never tasted anything like this in New England. The closest place to NH we can taste this type of food is NYC. I recommend Mr. Cruz without reservations.
