Angela prepared me (last-minute!) for a wedding that for which I had been asked to perform. I posted to Thumbtack on a Sunday night and my performance was the following Saturday. She contacted me immediately, and scheduled me for two days in a row of an hour each. Angela was very kind; when I showed up over 30 minutes late she let me return after her last client so that I could get my full time when she could have easily (and justly!) turned me away after the half-hour. As for her teaching style, Angela is honest and encouraging, and has plenty of techniques I had not learned (and I have been singing for 25 years). Angela pushes you so that you grow but the atmosphere is always fun and engaging. She helped me choose a song for the performance and burned me a CD of the accompaniment. Although she has a piano that we warmed up with, Angela does not play piano well enough to accompany the client in their songs. At first I was concerned, but she was skilled with youtube and her tablet to find accompaniments and songs in different keys that I was impressed and found it very enjoyable! Angela is a consummate professional, with a gorgeous voice, and I plan to continue working with her in the New Year.
Mr. Harden is wonderful. He's very knowledgeable and patient. This is by far the best option for music lessons.
My experience with Star Globe was amazing! We covered an abundance of warm up exercises and other techniques in our first session. I felt very comfortable with Jay and the relaxed environment that he provides. He is very professional and offers a variety of services from vocal lessons to song writing and studio time. I look forward to seeing my progression and everything that I will accomplish with the help of Star Globe! I definitely give 2 thumbs up!!
I took piano lessons from Mrs. Whatley for three years. She is an outstanding music teacher and is very good at explaining concepts and ideas so that they are easy to understand. She has always been very generous in working with my schedule and trying to reschedule missed lessons when possible. Mrs. Whatley makes learning very enjoyable, but also stresses discipline in practice. She manages lesson time well so that students receive a balance of theory and hands-on practice. I would definitely recommend Mrs. Whatley to students young or old.
Gary is awesome!! He is very talented, playing several instruments. I took guitar lessons from him - believe me, he is patient! Very good instructor; he doesn't just teach how to play songs, he teaches the instrument, how it works. I highly recommend Gary!
We have had an intro lesson with Leigh Ann. She is the perfect fit for my daughter! I cant wait to work with her!
I've been taking voice lessons with Robert now for almost a year. What I like about taking lessons with Robert is that, while progress can be kind of slow and frustrating at times (depending on the student), change does inevitably come and when it does, it's like singing with a brand new voice. If you're wanting a teacher who listens to you sing songs badly, praises everything you do, and does nothing to resolve any bad habits you've acquired over the years, then Robert is not your guy. But if you want someone who will push you to go farther than you thought possible, then stick with Robert. It's going to take time and work to achieve that sought after "singing voice" but anything worth having always does. I've had three different voice teachers in the past but this teacher is the only one that has made a difference in my knowledge and approach to singing. Try to schedule an earlier lesson because after five or six lessons, Robert does tend to lose his concentration and is occasionally easily distracted.
My son loves his violin lessons. Robin is friendly and fun
I practiced my singing for an audition and I got the audition. He helped me figure out problem areas with my voice and what I needed to improve on. I would recommend Minnix Music because I enjoy the lessons he teaches!
They helped with taking deeper breaths when I sing. The quality was amazing! Nothing went wrong at all
My daughter started taking piano lessons from Jenny when she was 5 years old. She's now 9 and still loves taking lessons. My daughter has gotten the highest score each year in the national federation of music club festivals. I'm very thankful for such a great teacher!
Jacquelyn is a very dedicated individual who exceeds in assisting others, and not just in piano lessons. She is also more than suitable for sign language interpretation!
Our family loves Learn Music! Our daughter takes ukele lessons. She can't wait to go. I don't have to remind her to practice. They make it fun!
My granddaughter takes lessons from her she is a great teacher. My granddaughter has learned so much from her. She is the best teacher every.

I teach children to sing their best, and in a healthy way. No matter what style (classical, pop, Broadway) that the client wants to sing, they will learn to do so with good technique.
