Introduction: I am a pianist for Summerville Baptist Church. I attended Ben Speer's Stamps Baxter School of Music for two years in a row. I currently teach two amazing 7yr old girls once a week. I am teaching notes, plus I am doing ear training!

My granddaughter takes lessons from her she is a great teacher. My granddaughter has learned so much from her. She is the best teacher every.

Mary is absolutely a God sent! Reasonable pricing and both my children love her, she's patient, loving, gentle and kind! My Daugher in a short time can play several songs and my son who has autistic behavior, this has been the best therapy for him and as challenging as things are for him he too has learned in a short time! I'd highly recommend a Mary!! Thank you lord for putting her in our lives, my children are so happy to be taking piano and they have the best teacher, Mary Hughes!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $15/lesson, which lasts about 75 minutes. I try to keep my prices reasonable, and I include books in my price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I talk to the new customer and discover where their interests lie. I want them to feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I took piano lessons for 7yrs. I enjoyed playing, and soon starting playing about once a month for my church. I soon joined Chorus in Middle School. 2-3 yrs after joining Chorus I would play our music on the piano when our teacher needed to be out.I have been out church pianist for 7-8yrs and love it. I am also teaching two amazing 7yr old girls. They are doing very well.
