This is a very good company. All appointments were kept. An inspection of the crawl space was done. Taylor then discussed what should be done to prevent water from pooling in the craw space. He was polite, friendly and informative.It wasnt long after I agreed to have the work done that the crew came out. William, Josh and Luis dove into the job right away. William took time to answered my questions and further explained what they would be doing. They worked all day digging up the dirt, putting in the piping and hauling the gravel in a wheelbarrow from the driveway to the back of the house and into the crawl space. I was informed of the progress and the next steps that would be taken. They told me when they were testing the pump so I could watch.All three were polite and friendly, and professional.They finished the job leaving the area and crawl space clean. I was also supplied with pictures of the work done and how it would work. More importantly they assured me that if there were any issues the company would send someone out to correct itDry Otter company and the crew, William, Josh and Luis are the best I have come across in a long time.Thank you

Adam did a very good job for us checking out our crawl space. He checked out sump pump and dehumidifier to make sure everything was working properly. He. Replaced check valve in sump pump. He replaced batteries in sensor and in monitor inside house.Adam was very professional and answered any questions that we had.

Recently we purchased a new home in the Mooresville, N.C. Area.Upon the inspection during the purchase process, a number of issues arose, the largest of which was ground water contamination that created mold in the crawl space.Enter Dry Otter...Marcus Smith of Dry Otter came out to the property the next day and developed multiple proposals. We chose the most comprehensive.Through Marcus, incredible communication with his office personnel, we were able to schedule the work in a timely manner.The job entailed the remediation of the mold, installing drainage, sump pump, encapsulating the entire crawl space and installing a dehumidifier.Will, John & Luis did an outstanding job not only doing the installation but doing so while supplying timely updates and education as the process continued. During the install, total professionalism was prevalent as well as a human touch in understanding our concerns.There was a site supervisor present on a consistent basis to ensure all was well and Bob, the electrician, that "Fired Up" the sump pump and dehumidifier was outstanding.On top of that, we now can monitor the humidity in our crawl space with an in-home sensor. to any homeowner that is in need of any of the services that Dry Otter provides!D.M. William, Josh and Luis did a great job installing drainage and encapsulating my crawl space. Im very pleased with their work . They kept me informed about their schedule and the work they were doing throughout the process. Wesley did an excellent job at the start of detailing the entire project. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer free crawl space and basement inspections where our inspector will provide a thorough assessment of the situation along with a free estimate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with scheduling a free crawl space or basement inspection. Next, at the inspection appointment, the inspector will provide a free estimate. If the homeowner wants to hire Dry Otter, the production manager will reach out to schedule the work. The work usually lasts 1 to 4 days. There is usually no impact on the residents in the home during the work, since the work is under the house. If we perform mold remediation in the crawl space, we take precautions to protect the people in the home. We offer warranties and recommend an annual maintenance of the system and we offer that service.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There are no permits or certifications needed for crawl space or basement waterproofing. But we are a member of the National Association of Remodeling Industry and the Basement Health Association.
