FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can set type up a list of standard pricing. But, to be honest, it all varies depending on the time frame needed to complete the work. One price for certain "same work " tasks will not be the same. ( i.e.. swapping out a motherboard.) I cannot price someone the same for say a Lenovo w530 swap vs an HP 8560w. But, of course this all can be discussed. I am an honest tech who does not enjoy ripping people off.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would want to speak to the client via telephone first to discuss the issue. After that, I would be there in person to be shown the issue, I would give them step by step as to the plan of attack, and they can stay , or let me work. However, I enjoy talking to people so I do not mind if they "hang out" while I do the work. I can walk them through what I am doing as I am doing it.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been doing hardware/software IMAC for over 12 years now. Worked with some pretty big named companies.
