All investigations are free; we never charge for our services. Who are we?
Whether by scientific curiosity or personal experience about the possibilities of afterlife, we, the members of P.I.T. Crew NC (The Paranormal Investigation Team of North Carolina), have gathered together to bring our unique passion and talents to the investigation of the paranormal.
We adhere to the proof-based, no-nonsense techniques that have developed such great investigation teams as The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS), a standard in the industry. The members on our team have formally been trained by TAPS on the USS North Carolina to make certain that our investigations are objective, professional and thorough.
We acknowledge the personal and sometimes traumatic nature of incomprehensible activities in a workplace or home, and we deal with every individual case with the experiences and concerns of the people affected in mind.
Ultimately, we would like to find simple, everyday explanations for our clients' experiences to "debunk" their claims. Our investigation approach, however, also allows for those instances when we cannot explain these claims or evidence, which we collect.
P.I.T. Crew NC will do everything we can to provide solutions to our clients' concerns and the nature of the activity.
Our investigations begin with a comprehensive interview with any and all parties affected by the activities. Where needed, team members will research historical material on areas or structures for pertinent information.
We have state-of-the-art equipment, which is then deployed according to client experiences, relying on both interactive studies by the investigators and passive monitoring equipment.
Our team will then thoroughly review and analyze all media collected, applying our objective, proof-based standards to all possible events.
Results of all investigations will be presented as the investigative team's opinion, based on a clinically sound, thorough evaluation of the media collected.
What do we do? Our investigations typically correspond to the following guidelines:
* Client interview
* Setup of audio/video equipment
* Lights out (investigation time: at least 4 hours)
* Cleanup and departure
* Analysis of evidence
* Findings report
Where do we go?
Although located in Fuquay Varina, we will investigate anywhere in North Carolina and the surrounding states on short notice but will consider extensive travel. Due to natural factors that are beyond our control, we typically avoid outdoor investigations, but contact us to discuss the possibilities.
