Introduction: I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS). I specialize in populations dually diagnosed with mental health and substance abuse disorders. I am trained in multi-systemic therapy -- a family-focused evidence-based model. Other training include acceptance and commitment therapy, trauma-focused therapy and motivational interviewing, which is primarily used with populations battling chemical addiction. My dual licensure uniquely qualifies me to work with both the mental health and substance abuse populations. In addition to 20 years of professional experience in community based services, my academic qualifications and specialized trainings, I have a genuine compassion for those I serve. RHEMA Counseling & Support Services, PC was converted to a professional corporation by the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors (NCBLP) in 2009.This distinctive type of legal entity assures the public that our services are provided by skilled, licensed professionals only.
