FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts for bundled services (i.e. if you want sound reinforcement AND video, or sound AND music). Let me know what you need. An extra travel fee applies to jobs outside the Western North Carolina area.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I talk to the customer and figure out exactly what it is they need. Once it's determined that we are a good fit for each other, I send them a contract and a questionnaire that asks about some of the specifics of their project (what songs they want/don't want if it's a wedding/DJ event, what points they'd like to emphasize if it's a video, what announcements they need, what sort of post-production look they want, etc.). I encourage questions from the client and stay in contact via e-mail as needed. Sometime before the event, I make it a point to visit the venue and survey the area(s) that I need to set up in so there are no surprises on the big day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started as a mass communication major with an emphasis in audio engineering and video production. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville (UNCA) in 1997.
