About

Egg In Nest is a unique art studio for children and adults. Professional art supplies of every color fill the studio. Working in small groups or in a private session, each artist receives independent instruction, while working on projects that are designed to reflect their interest and personality. There are no "canned" art projects. The instructor, artist Jenny Eggleston, says, "I give the tools and ideas on how to improve, and then I watch as great art happens." The elements of design, basic and advanced drawing techniques, and color theory are the topics of discussion, and Jenny also likes to sprinkle in stories about the great masters throughout art history. "I want you to be able to go into any art museum in the world and appreciate what you are seeing and have a general understanding of why it is hanging there."

About

I am a comic artist who specializes in fantasy. I am currently writing and illustrating a graphic novel. If you have a child who loves comics, manga and anime and/or shows an artistic gift, then I'm your instructor. I give private comic/sequential art/basic digital art classes to preteens and teens. I am also a muralist. I do children's rooms, children-themed businesses, and churches. I am a child at heart, and parents love the way I interact with the kids. I love comics, cartoons, and toys. We homeschool, so we have a large schoolroom. References are available upon request. Thank you for your interest.
