Angela is an excellent voice teacher. She has many years of experience; not only is she a great voice coach, but is an excellent singer as well. Bottom line, she knows her "stuff". She's been a joy to work with.
James Harden might be the most interesting man I've ever met. I took a year off from high school (after 10th grade) to study music under James' instruction and while I didn't know it then, the kind of education I received was unlike any other you could ever ask for. There are lots of music teachers out there, but few have something to offer besides the typical musical instruction. The key to being a successful musician is not in the notes you play or sing, but in the attitude you take towards creativity and feeling, and that's what you learn to explore at Music People Studios, your own inner self. It is years later and little things I've heard and remember are just now starting to click into place in my mind. James is a very gifted teacher and producer, and is a great resource with an extensive, professional recording studio and tools to help aspiring musicians find and/or further their creative dreams. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend James Harden and Abraxas Productions to any musician out there!
He is helping to write lyrics and produce music for an education project called iEdapts. He is head and shoulders above other producers that I have worked with in the past from this industry. It has been a wonderful experience and he’s a truly amazing and gifted producer!!!! Not to mention a quality person.
I hadn't even heard of Thumbtack 2 months ago, but so glad I found it and it led us to Childers Music Studio! There's no doubt we made the right choice in choosing Brian to teach our son. He is patient and honest, fun and just the right amount of challenge ! I've noticed a difference already in my sons self-confidence! And the home studio is welcoming, and a perfect backdrop for the learning environment ! Highly recommend Childers!
He is much better than former teacher 15-20 years ago. He is patient and I very much like the Suzuki method that he uses. I can sincerely recommend him to anyone. And I am 64 years old, so it's a little harder for me than a younger person. I do play other stringed instruments but they all have frets, which is quite different!
I took piano lessons from Mrs. Whatley for three years. She is an outstanding music teacher and is very good at explaining concepts and ideas so that they are easy to understand. She has always been very generous in working with my schedule and trying to reschedule missed lessons when possible. Mrs. Whatley makes learning very enjoyable, but also stresses discipline in practice. She manages lesson time well so that students receive a balance of theory and hands-on practice. I would definitely recommend Mrs. Whatley to students young or old.
If your interested in learning voice, I have found that there is no better teacher out there than Robert Wendall. He teaches you to fully understand what you are doing and how to fix problems that may occur. He studied with the best in the business and it comes out in his classes. He truly is amazing at what he does. There are many other voice teachers out there that teach all kinds of instruments and throw in voice because they thought they would cover the spectrum when it comes to teaching. These kinds of teachers can show you a few tricks of the trade, take your money and in the end you don't truly understand the mechanism that is the voice. Don't waste time and money on people who 'really' don't understand what Robert does. Robert's focus is being a specialist in voice training, that's it. I'm thrilled that I've finally found the right teacher for me. Stuart
For a seasoned pro like myself, to still be looking for a teacher to challenge me, Mike delivers. And yet, he can still teach my 5yr old son the basics. One of the best drum teachers, and all around nicest guy, you will ever find.
Robin is AMAZING!! She definitely has a unique, funny and great way of teaching my daughter violin! She keeps my daughter's attention throughout the lesson, too. We absolutely love her! We highly recommend Robin!!!
I highly recommend Jeff no matter what your music aspiration are!
I am negotiating with Online Stage School of Performing Arts regarding trial lesson currently.
Willing to teach current music that I pick.
I highly recommend! I see Jay play whenever he has a gig. Not only is he an accomplished and extremely tasteful solo performer, his jazz big band and trio are top notch. Our local music scene is truly lucky to have him.
My 9yr old and 6 year old have had piano teachers for a while but we were blown away by the professionalism and passion of Mr Dan. A knowledgable teacher with a great attitude and technique is hard to find. I am so glad we met Mr Dan and believe He has all the good qualities of an awesome teacher and great human being.
Jesse sees more than a student when he is teaching music. He sees a person, their potential, and their heart! He loves his job and thats what makes Zamar great! Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Melissa is very knowledgeable about the guitar and a great teacher!
I've been playing a long time, but really need to increase my theory knowledge in a practical way. After one lesson, it's clear Sean is able to tailor his teaching to the needs of the student. Exactly what I was looking for, and I'm looking forward to the challenge!
I offer piano and theory instruction. I am a degreed teacher with over 30 years of experience in private studio as well as public school instruction.

My teaching methods are based on years of experience in the arts, in private studios, community programs and overseas. I studied Elementary Education as an undergrad student and use those techniques, and my love for children and education, in every class or piece I develop.
