I retained Suzanne to design a luxe master bedroom, a sunroom and living room in my 3800 sq. ft. home at Lake Norman. She honed right in on my personality & tastes, integrating my eclectic, modern style & specific personal needs, actually exceededing my expectations ! I contracted with L&J Home Improvement & Repair for after strong winds knocked down my old wooden fence. Luis came and gave me a quote, made good recommendations regarding the materials and construction of the fence he proposed. Very professional and provided me a written estimate. After I selected him for the work he came out and provided me with a contract that outlined the work to be done, how long it would take and by when it would be finished. Luis showed up on time and completed the work in the phases he had described. His job site was organized, and he was very respectful of my home. The finished fence looks amazing! Luis was a real pleasure to work with - thorough, courteous, willing to discuss and explain. A professional all the way. The quality of his work is excellent. He has provided a guarantee. Originally, I desperately needed help to clean and organize my home and outside area where a bunch of junk had accumulated. She did an amazing job and I honestly almost didn't recognize it bc she whipped it into shape and then some! She also recommended some ways for me to save time and space that have ended up becoming permanent & routines for me since they are so helpful. I felt like she tried to get to know my routines, likes and dislikes with regards to cleaning, organization, convenience, etc. Then, she used that to come up with solutions that would be the best fit for my lifestyle. I actually felt like a unique and valued customer to her and not just an assignment. Honestly, I felt like a friend had been visiting and was sorry when she was done. It was just really nice feeling like I had someone helping that cared almost as much about what and how things were done as I did. And best part of all is you don't feel any judgment at all whether you have a small mess or a complete disaster. Later, I had 4 storage buildings that I needed completely reorganized and cleaned bc rodents had snuck in over the winter. It was embarrassing, to say the least. But she didn't blink an eye. She's not scared to get dirty, just jumps right in and gets to work. And never pressured me about what I wanted to keep and what I wanted to discard, just worked with whatever I wanted and made it the best it could be. I would have a very hard time believing anyone else could have done a better job! I can't say enough to do the job she did proper justice. I will just end by saying if you want a job done and never to wonder whether you hired the right person, or if you got your moneys worth, there is only one choice and that's OPPT.
