Wedding and Event Photography
Lori was a "Perfect" fit for our Wedding! She captured our Family blended wedding to our vision & she was great to work with! She made suggestions to our Wedding entrance, that I never envisioned, which only added to the overall success to the pictures! She was very easy to communicate with & the quality of the pictures were EXACTLY what we were looking for! - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Simple is best! I have 1 price for basic images 10x13 and smaller, the job in studio/outdoor has the same price structure. Some seasonal packages, discounts for multiples, and create custom packages based on need.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?With new customers, I do a brief phone introduction, and set up an in person consultation. The studio has found consultations to be helpful for setting expectations. Breaking the ice with small children can be helpful, when time permits before the session, make an appointment to meet n greet. For events and location sessions, timelines are crucial for success. If time isn't available a phone consult is an alternative. A walk through an event/rehearsal would be helpful and will be done if photographer is available.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I belong to the Professional Photographers Association (PPA) (trade organization). I have an associates degree in Graphic Design, college courses in photography, and mentored by 2 studios for weddings & events. Management/Sales in Retail operations such as: Portrait Innovations/Software trainer for digital conversions in Sears/Walmart Portrait Studios. Life Touch Church division.
