Aliya is amazing to work with! She was my Asst Music Director on a show I directed, and her attention to detail and ability to work with a wide range of abilities was fantastic. From music directing to private lessons, I recommend her highly!

Aliya is amazing! Aliya has the experience, knowledge, and overall ability to help her students reach their full potential. Whether that be helping students increase their vocal range, overall performance skills, and/or help them become more confident within their own skin and abilities. Aliya has personally helped me so much and through her expertise I was able to win a pageant where I had to sing. I would recommend her to absolutely anyone.

Aliya helped me learn piano from an absolute beginner position. She was always kind, thoughtful, and considerate. She met me at my level and slowly challenged me every week to go a little further in my piano knowledge. Super professional and encouraging! I would recommend Aliya to anyone--especially beginners.

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?For new students our first lessons will focous on getting to know each other. We will discuss what you do know so far about your prosepctive insturment, what you would like to learn, what types of music you love, what you want to accomplish, and where you would like to see yourself in a year. After we discuss this with each other (and your parents if you are a minor) we will make a lesson plan of how we will structure our weekly (or biweekly) lessons.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have fifteen years experince within the field of music. Including piano training (classical, jazz, christian, contemporary), voice training (classical, jazz, chrisitan, gospel, musical theatre, opera), music theroy, sight singing/reading, and audition prep. I studied at Weaver Academy for the Performing and Visual Arts for highschool, Vocal Intensive Programs at the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor, Vocal Performance and Piano in the accredit Music Department at Greensboro College. As well as High Point Community Theatre through various directors, and music directors.
