Desiree, We are glad you are happy with our work getting your items to your new home quickly without any damages. After reading your review we went back through all of our correspondence on Thumbtack, email & text. We were unable to find a quoted amount of $66 anywhere. It’s unlikely anyone from our office would have quoted that figure, since our prices are noted on our profile, as well as our websites that we are $100/hr + the cost of fuel/materials and of course sales tax, which we are required to charge by law. At the time of payment we presented you with an itemized receipt which also noted the credit card processing fee that we informed you of when you asked if you could pay with cash or a credit card. No one mentioned there was a discrepancy with the total cost at the time of payment. If we had been made aware we would have been happy to work with you to clear up the confusion, while we were all together because we want our clients to satisfied when doing business with CVE. I apologize for not knowing you were upset in any way. Is it possible that you may have been quoted the $66 by another company? As for the time, I will apologize for the delay, but we were not an hour late. Our trucks have GPS trackers on them which notate our time and location at all times. We had you scheduled for 11am and asked you in advance if we could arrive early to which you informed us that it would not work for you which was fine. We texted you at 9:09am to confirm 11am was still a good time as well as confirm the pickup location. We then texted you at 11:04am letting you know the GPS caused us to be a few minutes behind schedule but we would be arriving momentarily. We explained GPS took us on an alternative route from Greenville to New Bern than we typically take and apologized for the delay. When you texted back we were already in the driveway looking at your items waiting for you to come outside. Once we had your items properly wrapped and secured safely on our truck we let you know we were ready to head to your new location. We were under the impression we could follow you so we knew where we were going but your vehicle was out of sight before we even left the first neighborhood. We certainly did not mean to upset you with the amount of time the travel took but we were unable to follow behind you. We were still able to complete your job in an hour, much faster than most. We try to complete jobs as quickly as possible to save our clients money and thankfully we were able to do that for your move. It seems like there was some miscommunication and for that we are sorry. We wish you would have communicated how you felt with us so we could have immediately found a way to make sure you were pleased with the entire experience rather than going to the internet without saying anything. We work very hard and take pride in what we do and that is usually accurately depicted in our reviews. These reviews help grow our business because new clients use them to choose CVEmpire, LLC👑. It’s upsetting when they are not accurate because it could potentially cause us to loose revenue based on information that is not true. Regardless, it is most important that we make sure all of our clients are pleased with their experience with our company.
