I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I was very upset with my experience with National Water Heater. I had a problem with my dishwasher and when I made my appointment, I was under the impression that someone would come by, see what the problem was, and give a quote to fix it, but the technician arrived, spent a few minutes unclogging the hose and the rest of the hour waiting for my dishwasher to run and told me it was going to be $175. At no point before the work was done did anyone inform me of their service fees or charges. They explained to me that their hourly rate is 100 dollars an hour and there was a 75 dollar emergency fee for the weekend; however, my appointment was for Friday and they called me to reschedule it for Saturday. I ended up not paying the emergency fee, but they still charged for me an hour of labor, even though a majority of that time the technician spent watching my TV waiting for the dishwasher to finish running. Even though the technician they sent was nice, arrived on time, and got my dishwasher working, I will not be using NWH again because they were not upfront with me and I feel like I was willfully overcharged. Basically I paid for a someone to spend ten minutes unclogging a hose and 50 minutes to run back and forth from the truck and watch my TV.

We were having trouble getting a plumber in our area to come out and give us an exact quote on installing a tankless water heater, after calling every plumber in our area and getting no where we turned to thumbtack. National water heater contacted me within minutes of my post, I called the number they supplied and had an appointment for someone to come and give a quote within a couple days, after receiving the quote and doing some research they had me scheduled for an install within a couple days. I had a lot of questions about what they were installing, that I thought of after they came out. I called Erick, the person who I had been dealing with and he spent 20min on the phone with me answering my questions, he never once said "um" or paused to think about his response he new what to say and what he was talking about, which made me more comfortable hiring them. I liked that they were always friendly and professional. The tech that did the install was even friendly and knew what he was doing. They also checked with me to make sure I was OK with how they were installing something (like where the vent pipe was going and what wall I wanted it mounted on.. Etc). They make sure to do things up to code and neat, and not thrown together style. I do feel they take customer satisfaction seriously and I will call them again for future needs. I do recommend this company and would recommend them to my own family members.

We price all of our jobs on sight to ensure that you, the customer, are only charged what is necessary for your specific repair. All pricing has to be accepted and approved by the customer prior to our technician beginning his work.

We gather general information from the customer such as your property address, what type of project you need help with, and appropriate contact information. Once we have created a new customer profile we will get you on to one of our technicians schedule at a time most convenient for you.
