I started at The Wellness Xchange in October 2014 with a 10-session package of both personal and small group training. I was in decent shape and had been active all my life, but with each passing decade I noticed decreased strength and muscle mass, and the inability to shed those infamous last 10-15 pounds. I was somewhat skeptical of the weight loss results other clients were sharing, and wasn't sure if I'd have the time to attend classes with my busy career as a nurse, a wife and a mother of two. After the first class I was HOOKED! Within one week, I changed my package to a 6-month membership and began to see the positive changes not only in my body, but my outlook on life and my attitude toward weight loss. I met Jamell almost 2 years ago when I was looking to shed a few pounds before my wedding. Jamell helped me learn my body type and what I needed to do in order to shed the pounds. He also helped me learn what foods where essential in my diet. He wanted me to not only learn how to lose weight but he taught me things I could do to keep the weight off. Jamell pushed me hard and encouraged me along the way and before I knew it the pounds we flying off. After getting married I became pregnant and Jamell and his team continued to work with me so that I could continue to be fit and healthy during my pregnancy. After I had my daughter I went back to my prepregnancy weight within 2 months and there's no doubt in my mind that it was all because of my workout routines I did while pregnant.
