When I requested a quote for a resume' updating, reformatting, clean-up job, it seemed like Anne Marie was just waiting by her computer for my call for help. I'm a procrastinator from way back. Not having a resume has never kept me from a job because of the work I was in before was all word-of-mouth on this tiny island. It probably is for my new profession too but nobody is going to be buzzing about my unparallelled skills until I get a few jobs under my belt. So I need a resume suddenly, for the first time in my 55 years. The only version of a resume' I even have is one that we were forced at gunpoint to do for a grade in school. You can tell I waited until 5 minutes before it was due to start on it. Anne Marie didn't flinch....not so I could see her anyway. She just got straight to work. Asked a couple of pertinent questions, and, as promised, had a 'draft' ready for me to review that very same day! If that was a draft, ,I couldn't tell and was all ready to send it out to everybody on the island when I realized I didn't have a cover letter either. Oh well, this procrastinator will 'get a round tuit'. Yeah right, I went ahead and asked her to do this too. I needed a couple of changes to the draft, which she jumped on immediately. I probably could have been the most successful in my trade before if I would have just had a resume to send to people other than the local suspects here in Hawaii. I don't plan on making that same mistake in my new field so I'm so pleased to have this spanking new resume and cover letter template which can be easily adapted to whatever job I am trying to apply for because of the way she set it up!
