- What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly I just walk dogs and pet sit for my customers. However, if there is something else you would like to be done, I am open to hear your requests. I have also taken pets to vet appointments for clients.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Well this story doesnt have much to do with my work but I am very proud of this story. I found a dog in the road of which I live. He had no collar but looked to be well taken care of. I took him home and fed him and gave him a good bath. Then started looking for the owner. I put up signs, posted his picture online to see if anyone knew the dog. After several days and losing hope, a lady at the gas station recognized the dog and told me he was owned by an older man who drove a green car and lived not to far from the gas station. I drove around for hours looking for a green mazda. Finally, I found a house with a green mazda and found the owner! He was an 84 year old veteran who was in tears because he was so happy to see his little buddy! He tried to pay me but I would not take it. The feeling of reuniting this man with his dog was enough. My heart was filled with joy. About a month later I found another dog who was lost. I found him in a gas station parking lot. I wanted to keep the dog safe and not having him walking around where he could get in the road. I sat at the gas station for an hour and was losing hope. As soon as I got the dog in my car to take home, a woman pulled up frantic asking everyone if they have seen a white dog. I took her by the arm and led her to her baby in my car. She immediately turned and gave me a big hug. Its moments like these that I know I am doing what I was meant to on this earth.
