I practiced yoga with Regina as part of a small group (2-4 people). She was always attentive to the individual needs of the class and assisted us with modifying poses as needed based on physical limitations and flexibility. She strongly emphasizes using props such as bolsters, blocks and straps to help support or modify a pose. Regina is a fun, uplifting person and I always came away from yoga class with a better state of mind.
I love going to my acupuncture sessions with Anisha! Within only a few short weeks - and as many sessions - Anisha's accupuncture, energy work and homework she gave me were able to bring me/my body back to some feel-good balance. Not only is her approach gentle, throrough and holistic, but I always leave there feeling rested and refreshed - as though I have just had a massage!
Don Byer understands yoga. Not just yoga asana but the deeper and more foundational aspects of the science. He is a devoted practitioner and a grounded and knowledgeable individual. His intentions are pure and his method is grounded in parampara.
I had the privilege of working with Amber when I catered one of her yoga retreats in Asheville, NC. She was lovely to work with prior to the event and during the retreat, sending me clear lists of foods to avoid and include which made everything run smoothly and efficiently! I was nearby in the kitchen during her yoga instruction and she attended to everyone on an individual level as well as a united group. Patient and positive, I would recommend her services to anyone looking for an instructor or just a positive force in your life!
Samantha has an enormous amount of knowledge and experience. You will love her demeanor and personalized approach to health and wellness.
In my 10+ years of doing yoga, Lillian is truly one of the best instructors I have ever had. She is extremely creative and is always looking for new poses to introduce to her students that can help improve their practice. She has an impressive knowledge of the body and is always ready to answer tough questions about the benefits of different poses. Lillian is full of positive energy and seems to intuitively understand what her students need - she has kicked my butt when I needed it but also provides a sense of calm and tranquility that I find to be crucial in a good yoga instructor. She is inspiring, bright, vibrant and really lives and breathes what she does every day. I would recommend Lillian to anyone looking for an amazing yoga teacher!

I want my clients to be in love with their bodies and to feel amazing in them. Body language has more to do with how we feel that we used to realize, so when posture is in good alignment while standing and doing movement, individuals can feel better and have more energy! I help individuals strengthen and lengthen their bodies into proper body alignment. That way their bodies can function in the best possible way.
I have been an avid yogi for 10 years. I teach at a local gym in Mooresville, and I work with some fantastic people. I enjoy helping people reach their yoga goals and watching them grow in their practice.

Bring Your Life Into Balance Breath of Life Healing Arts offers the holistic modalities of bodywork, acutonics sound healing, energy work, and yoga to help you restore harmony to your body, mind and spirit. We have two offices located in Black Mountain and Asheville, NC. Integrated Bodywork Sessions: Our integrated bodywork sessions include a variety of techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, shiatsu, sports, acupressure, trigger point and myofascial release. Acutonics and energy work may also be incorporated into your session for no additional charge. Acutonics Sound Healing: Acutonics is a non-invasive and energy-based method of sound healing that is used during sessions to bring your whole being into balance. "Acu" refers to acupuncture and "tonic" to tone. This system combines the wisdom of Chinese medicine with the principles of sound healing. In other words, Acutonics is like acupuncture but uses sound instead of needles. In a session, precision-calibrated tuning forks, Tibetan bowls, and Tibetan bells are used both on and off the body to access the body's energy systems including the acupuncture meridians and chakras. Both the sound of the tuning forks and their application can facilitate dynamic and profound shifts on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Yoga: Many people know of yoga through the practice of asana (yoga poses) alone. However, yoga extends far beyond the practice of asana to include such practices as dhyana (meditation), pranayama (breathing practices) and samadhi (a state of oneness or union with God or the divine). Breath of Life's approach to yoga is freedom through strength. By practicing yoga, one can gain freedom by developing a strong yet pliable body, focused mind, and a strong yet open and accepting heart.

Conscious Cure offers TRADITIONAL Thai Yoga Therapy, which is an exclusive service. This is the Northern Village style straight from Thailand. How do you know you are getting traditional Thai? Your practitioner must work the "sen lines" or energy lines with a compression technique. There are 10 main lines, yet the practitioner typically focuses on 3 during the session. The Thai session must have compression through legs, arms and back as well as Thai chopping. Also, Elaina has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She is traditional in her approach maintaining the integrity of Hatha Yoga. Elaina has struggled with muscular based pain in which she can strongly relate to others who are looking for pain/stress management. Fortunately, yoga will absolutely bring relief to the pain and it is a commitment whether at home or in the studio space.
