FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No, I estimate each job individually.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I must see the project. Find out exactly what the customer wants. Price the material, be it wood or shingles. Then I write a detailed estimate giving a price for each item of material and then a labor price. Estimates are free. I give the customer some time to look over the estimate and make a decision. If they are happy I set up a time to begin and tell the customer how long it will take. The premises are cleaned at the end of the job, we never leave a mess. If the customer is pleased I ask for a review on thumbtack.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
When classes become available I often take them. Also, the professional magazines that I receive are a good education tool. Forty-two years of experience has given me a great deal of knowledge
