- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?We normally price our jobs by the square footage, ceiling heigth, along with the amount of angles that are involved. There are also other factors such as wall patching, priming, not to mention things like wallpaper removal and etc. However, we have been doing this for so long so no need to take up the homeowners time by manually measuring every room. During the walk through we capture a visual of each area and then formulate a quote that the customer will receive within 24-48hrs of the free consultation.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We provide a general quote on Thumbtack based on the request they submitted. Then we schedule a free on site consultation so we can put an eye on the project and better understand their goals and expectations. We then submit a accurate proposal within 24-48hrs. Once we are awarded the project, our companies standardized agreement is sent to the customer so they can review the terms and electronically sign. At that point their requested start date or next available start date is locked in on our company calendar.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We obtained a license for our line work based on the North Carolina license requirements. As of July 1st, 2015 The Privilege License Tax has been repealed in North Carolina for all businesses. As a result, no privilege license renewal applications will be mailed. However, we are constantly reading up on ways to improve our services from a professional standpoint, along with educating ourselves in our line of work. One of our goals is to always offer environmentally friendly products that can be used during the process.
