Introduction: I pay close attention to small details. Including cutting door jambs and trim work for wood install and using power stretchers for carpet install. I also work hard to help you save money. Tips like tearing out your own carpet can save you big money. Unlike others, I don't want to leave you broke after new flooring. I enjoy being able to save homeowners money. I love to have my clients glowing with pride after they see their new floors. I take pride in the fact that all my clients are able to refer me to their friends with peace of mind that they will be completely satisfied as well. New flooring can change the entire look of your home, and the fact that you allow me in your home to install it makes me feel like I have accomplished something at the end of the day. No one takes pride in their work like I do. You may notice a negative review about our company. Please understand that we went above and beyond to make this client happy. We charged her $500 for flooring installation and refunded her over $700 because she was not happy. She then took us to court and drained us of another $2600.00 because we didn't have the time to fight with her. As if that isn't enough she has attacked us on a business and personal level all over social media and the internet and in our personal lives. All of our good reviews speak for themselves. There will always be that client who you cannot make happy and we found her. She also has spent 3 or 4 years making another flooring company in South Carolina completely miserable because she was unhappy with them as well.

I give only high marks to Burgess Flooring who recently removed carpeting and installed laminate flooring in my home. From the initial meeting and assessment of the project, to completion, the project flowed seamlessly. Because of their professional teamwork, craftsmanship, and attention to quality customer care, I would highly recommend their services.

They aren’t even done doing our floors, and I already have to brag on them! These are the kindest, most accommodating, hardworking, and professional peopl I’ve ever worked with. I would never go to a big box store to have work done on my house now that I’ve experienced working with Burgess. From start to (almost!) finished, they have done a fantastic job. I’m super pleased with the quality of work, and like I said, just all around nice folks! We left our home several times while they were working and never had a moments hesitation about trusting them, for those who may be a little worried in that area, either. We’ve had a nightmare of an experience with buying and moving into our home, and our flooring installation was literally the only thing that has gone right so far. We even purchased our flooring ahead of time and when we went to pick it up, Home Depot accidentally cancelled my order! The guys at Burgess were so patient and graceful about it, since they had already begun tearing out our carpet and it took the store three hours to pull the flooring, and they just worked around the issue. They even sent one of their guys out with me to pick up the floors, and even he was super forgiving about waiting at the store. Love them, truly. Book them. Now.

We cannot recommend Burgess Flooring enough! We worked with Tina and Joe to replace the carpeting in our living room, hallway, and kitchen with vinyl plank. They were incredibly professional and easy to work with. They made the entire process a breeze - they even helped with ordering all the materials, and helped secure an additional discount on material! The process could not have been easier. On top of great service, they were also really reasonably priced. It feels like we have a whole new home! Special thanks to Tina - you rock :)

I had carpet I had and they installed it perfectly. I also bought new carpet from them and they installed it perfectly and very professional. So happy with my new carpet. I would recommend them to anyone. They are great

-Quick, professional service -No surprises -estimate was accurate -accommodated us for install days because we had to block off our 2 kittens -easy to work with After this experience, we would HIGHLY recommend anyone in the Charlotte metro area to use them. You will not be disappointed. They even brought US the carpet samples to look at!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with determining what type of flooring fits the needs of our clients and their lifestyle. We measure and provide a shopping list for our clients. They shop at their leisure and once they secure their flooring products we schedule an installation date.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Our services are, for the most part, installation of pre-purchased wood flooring. Some have already done tear out and disposal, others have not.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure when hiring for flooring that is is a specialty. Not a handyman service. There is a difference. Never pay by the hour for flooring, it could end up taking a week to install. Make sure they are insured.
