Introduction: Congratulations on your upcoming wedding celebration! Your wedding is a big deal, and choosing the right officiant is important. I am non denominational, and I am LGBT friendly. I am delighted to perform services for any happy couple for a wedding, elopement, vow renewal or commitment ceremony. Your celebration doesn’t have to be a huge event. Whether it’s just the two of you and your witnesses, or even a small group of friends, eloping is a beautiful and very intimate way to say, “I do." There’s less planning involved with eloping, and much less stress. And with less planning, there’s more time to have fun here on our beautiful OBX beaches! I am available year round, on any day of the week, in the Manteo/Wanchese/Nags Head areas of the Outer Banks. Come on down to the sand, and let’s get your Wedding Knots Tied!

I only dealt with the officiate to set up the date. My plans were cancelled due to denied access to the outer banks and covid-19. She was prompt to respond, answered email timely and was willing to reschedule for a later date. Which was impossible. Thank you

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Officiant fees are based on your ceremony location on the Outer Banks. Fees can be found on the Wedding Knots Tied website. All fees include a custom ceremony, unlimited phone, text, and email support. All payments are non-refundable, as your date and time are held just for you. My accepted forms of payment are cash, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, and Apple Pay.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once your payment has been received, Rev. Melody will reserve your date, and compose a ceremony. This will be emailed to you for approval and any changes you may desire.
