- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
An assessment is required for all new clients. It can take up to one and a half hours and includes evaluating behaviors, nutritional needs, and environmental concerns. That is $80 and will include tips and suggestions, making it worth your time and money. During the evaluation, I will tell you if I will take you on as a client. At the end of the assessment, you may purchase coaching sessions for $80 per 1-hour session in blocks of six or $100 each, sold individually. You will realize a savings of $120 by buying a block of six sessions compared to buying them separately. Sessions are every two weeks, so plan on taking about 12 weeks to finish 6 hours with me. The rest of your time during those 12 weeks will be all about you spending time working with your dog. There are no guarantees, working with a dog who has aggressive tendencies. I will coach you on how to train your dog. You are the trainer. Therefore, there are no refunds. Your degree of success is dependent on your being willing and able to follow suggestions and instructions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
As a Canine Behavior Coach, it is my job to give you pointers, suggestions, and tools which you can use to build a successful relationship with your dog. I will make recommendations as necessary regarding dietary and nutritional needs. Food, praise, and toy treats will be used throughout the training.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was certified as a Pet Training Instructor at a national pet store chain. I also volunteered with an AKC group in North Dakota as an Obedience Trainer.
