Garage Addition or Remodel
Great contractor to work with. Prompt and courteous business ethic is an understatement. Easily works within ones personal budget and already have additional jobs lined up for completion.Nov 12, 2019Verified
Roof Repair or Maintenance
I appreciate the availability after the first contractor was not able to deliver. Next time, I would like in writing what was done.Sep 19, 2018VerifiedExterior Home Solutions of Fayetteville LLC's reply
My apologies on not doing paperwork as we were rushing to get your roof tarped before the hurricane. I will send you a receipt other than the one from credit card company for your files.
Roof Installation or Replacement
Hired to replace roof. Took almost a month to get a crew that failed to tarp after pulling roof off - week of predicted rain. Resulted in sheetrock soak down walls, ruined hardwood floors, ruined paint, collapsed ceilings in bedroom, kitchen, hallway, high ceilinged living room. Attempted to "fix" it with unskilled labor who added damage with wrong materials, lack of experience/job. Says "I'll make it right" but refuses to pay the actual costs of having licensed professionals, who can provide insurance proof to file a TP claim to recover my out of pocket. Says anything - does nothing. Check on license, insurance, bond! RESPONSE TO Contractor: "Control" consisted cutting out ceilings, putting tarp on already saturated full roof. You stated it was "only the 2nd time" when here. You have not completed original contract and given negligence should not have been paid for negligent damage you directly caused. Damages both photographed, "crew" consisted of single day laborers and one person who stated he was not familiar with interior work, he only did fences (Nick); damages documented by two reputable, licensed contractors and insurance adjusters in writing. The only "excessive" is the 50+ emails and texts in which you alternately state damages would be paid for, and denial of payment. You were paid approximately $9,000.00; you did not complete original work, and caused over $10,000 in damages for which you have not paid one dime. You refused to provide insurance. You are not licensed - your company is registered. You lied to me when you stated you are licensed as a contractor, you are insured up to $1M and your workers are bonded. None of that has been provided despite over 5 requests (3 written, 2 texts). Damage is documented.Mar 29, 2019Verified
Nothing but great things to say about this company. The best thing is Jim was professionally patient and flexible to the changing requirements of the project. It's my plan to hire him for my next project immediately. Jim did a awesome job with my roof. His team installed the agreed material in one day and it looks great. They cleaned up as if they had not been there. I am nothing short of excited about the new roof and recommend Jim and Exterior Home Solutions to everyone. Jim is on my speed dial.Apr 9, 2019Verified
I have been waiting for an estimate write up for 2 weeks or more. I have called and asked for it several times to be told it would come the next day and doesn't. I met with the owner.Oct 1, 2018Verified
