i could not believe the work Dona did. I had to touch the walls to see if it was marbel, also the columns look like real stone. Dona painted the ceiling to look like stain glass it came out perfect. She is the most talented painter i have ever seen.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing for what I do is strictly on a job to job basis. There are a lot of factors that go into it such as: Do the walls have to be patched and sanded, dry wall sealed, previously painted walls primed first. How many colors or layers of glaze or plaster will I need to achieve the look they want. How detailed do they want the mural or painted elements to be? Will the job require scaffolding, do I have to hire helpers to move heavy furniture or take down wall size mirrors ? On most jobs, if cost is an issue, there are things the client can do prior to me coming in to cut down those costs. All of that is discussed once we've agreed on what they want the finished project to look like.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The single most important thing I can suggest is this: Be really comfortable talking to whoever you hire. Sometimes this process is as simple as picking out a paint color. But if you're doing multiple spaces with different finishes and painted elements it can become very complicated and expensive. Be sure that the person you hire is willing to listen to your suggestions or concerns. After all we're here to create your vision -not our own - and ultimately you're the one that has to live with the end result.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Most of my jobs come via word of mouth from previous clients so I work really hard to make sure each client is completely happy with the work I do. I, like most other artisans appreciate honest input from their clients at the completion of each project. Honest critiques help us to become better at our trade.
