We called Floyd to take care of a few electrical jobs for our home:1) repair an overhead fixture that was not working, 2) install a new overhead fixture, and 3) install a new 6 light vanity bar. He replied to my request in a very timely manner and came later the same day. He arrived on time and fixed everything to our satisfaction. We found his rates to be very reasonable.

Excellent work. I was able to avoid fishing wires and crawling through insulation. His quote is for labor and installation, possibly standard receptacles and boxes (My wife had specific receptacles and wall plates she wanted). Things I as the customer could have done to make the job faster for Floyd. * Written statement of work at time of on site estimate * Request a bill of materials if you are looking for more than the standard duplex receptacle and the wall plate for network and coax cables to just come out of the wall. This makes it easier to have everything on hand. I will have him back to install a broadcast TV antenna and to home run the cable and satellite connections.

Floyd was great! He was early to the appointment and very professional. He took the time to answer my questions about our light switch (we needed the switch replaced) and even went up the road to buy the supplies we needed to complete the job. He was kind, considerate, and I felt very safe with him in our home (my husband hadn't arrived home yet). I highly recommend Cooke Electric!

A++ Service! Was able to get to me the next day!! Of course when he arrived all of my electrical problems would not occur for me to show him what was going on. He did a few diagnostic tests and everything checked out. He told me that as soon as it happened again to call him and he would come out right away at no charge. My breakers weren’t labeled properly so he wanted to identify the right breaker before he left so we would know when he came back out, and once we did that he ended up finding the problem, and got it taken care of!! Will definitely be using him again!!!
