Miss Nyah was amazing. My wedding consultation was yesterday. She was on time very detailed and made sure I got everything I wanted and more. My 2 bridesmaids were so happy with her work they booked her for their weddings. I felt like a princess. Thanks

Nyah provided her services for the BCBG fashion show that was held at Lennox mall. All I can say is she was fabulous. She styled THIRTEEN girls twice throughout the show by herself. Amazed! I don't know what was better the hair or the new fall collection. Would recommend.

Hired on Thumbtack

I had an appointment today ( Aug. 3 2013 ) at 1pm with Nyah for my wedding consultation. It is now 3:45 and I have not heard anything from her no call or text. I have called her and text her with no response. I had just talked to her this morning so I though everything was good for the consultation. I'm very upset I am now two weeks from my wedding and I have no make up or hair stylist. I'm stresses as it is and this has just made it worse. I do no recommend her to anyone unless you want this to happen to you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
There is always a lot going on in the industry. From different make up lines to the latest hair styles & fashion trends. In order to be successful I'm always learning new about techniques and products.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work in a salon but I do numerous jobs outside of the salon. Which include on-site hair and make up for Weddings, Photoshoots, Videoshoots, commercial and TV sets, Portfolios, etc
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Do your research! There are many hair stylists and make up artists out there. Make sure you research a get quotes as well as do trial runs (especially for a wedding) before you choose a person to work with. If the chemistry isn't right move on to the next person. Also ask about the products they are using. High Quality is always best.
