ABSURDLY EXPENSIVE. Ray quoted price of $350 for a very small (1,600 sq ft) aeration & seeding job. Then he came back and said I needed to go out and buy my own seed. When I questioned this he said the high price was due to his aerator rental expense. I later found out the 1 day rental fee is $107 and Ray told me he aerated 2 other lawns that day. That’s about $35 per lawn for his rental expense. So net of rental expense, he charged $315 for an hour of unskilled labor! Plus, I wasn’t able to go out to buy lawn seed. So he didn’t seed the lawn, something that was included in his $350 price quote. He refused to make any adjustment for this. Ray is a very friendly, personable guy who way overcharges.
