About this pro

How does your business stand out?

I pride my self on teaching solid vocal techniques to kids and adults. You will receive the benefit of classical training which is the benchmark for all great singers, but you will do it while singing the music YOU love. It is so much fun!

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

I am a retired RN (I am only 40 something years young) and I wanted to take all my years experience taking care of sick kids and adults, and turn it into a way to teach people how to sing!

We had our first class with Kelli . She was very professional , friendly and helpful with my daughter's singing and vocal needs. Kelli is very talented with her many, various music styles. My daughter loves singing in musical theatre and needs Kelli's help with her pitch, timing and breathing techniques . I'm confident Kelli will be able to successfully help her with these needs.

First lesson; wife and I back to back. Kelli is very approachable, has a beautiful voice and is a good match for us regarding song/music styles. We're both happy about how we're starting out; seems like a good approach for us. I already play guitar and need vocal help for song/praise/worship scenarios as well as strength for public speaking; Kelli is focused on our needs and interest.

Kelli is an amazing voice coach. When I met her, I had some raw talent but had never been formally trained. I got nervous in front of other people and completely lost my ability to carry a tune! With her help, I came out of my shell & can belt out Heart tunes, I don't care who's listening now :). She even helped me refine my ability to harmonize. I had the ear, just needed a bit more help.

Kelli has helped my son improve tremendously not only with his voice, but with his confidence as well. She is great to work with, very flexible and patient. She goes out of her way to individualize the lessons for the student. Also provides public performance opportunites for her students to gain exposure and experience.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are $120 per month for a half hour lesson once a week. First lesson is free.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first lesson is free. That gives you the opportunity to see my process, and for me to best assess your skill level and how best to help you reach your goals.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Music with a focus on vocal performance, I also have a degree in Nursing. I have spent over 30 years as a performer and teacher.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a qualified vocal coach. Not all teachers out there giving music lessons are qualified to teach vocals.
