Introduction: Your wedding ceremony should be Perfect, and that is my Passion. I'm an award winning Wedding Officiant in Raleigh NC helping couples have the Perfect Ceremony since 2015, and my passion is helping you have the same experience. My services include working one on one with you to prepare the perfect script for your ceremony, attending and coordinating the rehearsal for the ceremony when needed, officiating at the ceremony itself, and delivery of the signed marriage license to the Register of Deeds Office. I am available by text, phone, or email every step of the way as we create your perfect ceremony. I will also coordinate with your musicians, photographer, DJ, videographer, wedding planner and venue staff as needed on your big day. I live in Raleigh and serve all of North Carolina, I have been celebrating perfect ceremonies of loving couples since 2015, and I look forward to working with you to make your day perfect!. As an Ordained Interfaith Minister, I honor the commitment made by all couples and faith traditions, regardless of race, socioeconomic status, ethnic background, age, beliefs, gender or sexual orientation. One of the "missions" in my service to couples on their wedding day is to help them both to "be in the moment" during the ceremony. Will all the planning, scheduling, task lists, hustle and bustle that can add stress to your day, I consider my job to be not letting your ceremony be something you can't remember with everything else that's going on. Instead, I make every effort to help couples create and participate in a ceremony that they'll remember long after the last dance at the reception is over. One that they will have fond memories of for years to come.

Ben was not only a consummate professional but everything you would want in an Officiant for such a special day. Not only was he kind, friendly, and made us laugh, but he followed our instructions. He also left us reminders of big tasks we needed to get done throughout the process. We were both very happy with his services and would choose him again. Our wedding has been delayed for two years due to pandemic. A lot of things has changed since the first time we met with Ben. And Ben has worked with us patiently and professionally to incorporate those changes, worked back and forth with several revisions. We really appreciated that! It was definitely a precious memory and experience of having Ben officiating our wedding! Many of our guests told us they really enjoyed the ceremony and spoke highly about Ben! We will definitely recommend him!

Ben was amazing! With an event like a wedding where tons of planning is involved, Ben make preparing for the ceremony one of the easiest parts. He provided multiple, well thought out options for us to review and catered to items we wanted to be part of our ceremony. I cant recommend Ben enough if you are looking for someone officiate your wedding.

Couldn't have asked for a better wedding officiant! Easy to work with, responsive to emails and messages, and really listened to our desires to make our ceremony exactly as we wanted it while also making it as simple of a process as possible. His voice is also incredible! Highly recommend him!

Ben is such a pro! He is so easy to get to know and makes sure to include special pieces of your relationship in your wedding day. He also provides a sample you can edit directly so you can ensure youre exactly comfortable what the ceremony script. Ben made sure to remind us to get our marriage license, bring it to the rehearsal, and get it signed and submitted on the wedding day. Both my sister and I have had Ben as our officiant on our wedding days and have had great experiences!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    My quote includes includes the following: - Meeting with you one-on-one to discuss the wedding and your vision of the perfect ceremony. - Preparing as many drafts of the ceremony script as needed, unlimited access to me by phone or email as we complete the process - Attending and participating in the rehearsal (if requested) - Leading the wedding ceremony - And of course completing and filing the all-important marriage license!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    First, what I like to do is meet with the bride and groom so we get a chance to know each other a little more. During this meeting I'll go over a "checklist" of items and questions to make sure I understand exactly what you're looking for in your ceremony, and we'll review/sign the agreement contract for my services. I also require a 50% deposit a this time to book the date. This entire meeting shouldn't take more that about 1 hour. Next, I get to work preparing a draft of the ceremony. That includes everything from the Processional (when and how everyone walks in) through the Recessional (when and how everyone walks out) and everything in between. This of course includes the exchange of vows, exchange of rings, and so forth. I'll include options for things like vows and what to say to each other when exchanging the rings, plus any specific rituals, prayers, readings or customs you want to include. Then, you take a look at the ceremony script, and together we'll fine tune it until it's exactly how you want it. I typically do this part over email or phone, but we could also meet again in person if you'd like as well. Then, if I've been asked to do so, I will attend the rehearsal and work with you to make sure everyone in the Wedding Party knows their role and positions for the entire ceremony. We'll practice the procession, ceremony, and recessional as many times as needed to make sure it's Perfect! I'll also pick up the Marriage License at this time so I have it ready for your wedding. One the day of your wedding, I arrive 1 hour before the scheduled start time, and I can coordinate with the DJ, photographer, videographer, and coordinator as needed to make sure we're all on the same page. After the ceremony, I'll make sure the Marriage License is signed by your witnesses, and I'll turn it into the county registar a day or two after the wedding. That's pretty much it!
