Whether it is a Bride to be or a new mom with her new born, most of my energy goes into making sure the customer is happy and completely satisfied with my service. Producing good work is never enough, I want to produce the best work possible every time. Photography is a very personal thing, so I want to make sure my customers and I are a good fit before we ever talk about a contract or costs. I love working with couples and families and hearing their love stories, the story behind the story. Revealing a wedding album or proofs to a couple for the first time and seeing the look on their face as they relive the moment they kissed and said "I do". It's a great thing!

He came out and took headshots for my engineers and I must say he was very prompt, professional and the headshots came out great. His price was very affordable and I would recommend him to anybody who need their photo taken. Thanks Stephen

Our company worked with Stephen Alexander in February 2017, and his photos were excellent. Stephen took headshot photos of our entire staff and provided a significant amount of proofs for everyone to choose from. Our company has specific guidelines for background choice and pose, and Stephen incorporated all of these into the photo session. The final edits were very professional and high quality. Stephen was very organized, thorough, and easy to work with. We hope to have another opportunity do to so!

I hired Stephen to do do some headshots of our CEO. He responded very quickly, and his communications were clear. The quality of his work was very good. He brought a lot of good ideas to the shoot, and our CEO felt very comfortable with Stephen. This resulted in some very good photos. His skills and personality are definitely five star, but I rated him with four only because in my specific situation, I was not able to view the proofs or download the final files from within my corporate network, since it does not allow for access to file sharing sites. Stephen uses a smugmug site for hosting his galleries, so I had to view and download everything to my phone, which is not optimal. I would definitely hire Stephen again, so a non-phone alternative for those of us with locked-down corporate networks would be great. And I would gladly adjust my rating if that happens.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The overall average wedding collection investment ranges from $2000 - $6000. This is just an average and every customer is treated as a unique client and no two wedding are the same. The goal is to fit each client with the services and items they would like and need while working within a market conscious investment.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always offer to connect by phone call initially. I find that customers that are serious about hiring a photographer will appreciate the access. After a successful phone conversation, depending on hte type of job we either schedule an in person meeting to go over details or simply set up a time to shoot. Weddings involve a great deal of details and planning so 2 consultation will be scheduled in total before the wedding. Simple jobs like headshots usually dont involve as many details and simply talking on the phone before hand is sufficient.
