Our year-end and month-end services can be utilized with either the Enhanced Bookkeeping Service or the Basic Bookkeeping Service, or even as a stand-alone service. Our Basic Bookkeeping Service includes the following: * Assigning all of your transactions to appropriate income and expense accounts * Entering transactions into a QuickBooks * file * Providing your accountant with the data they require to inexpensively and switftly prepare your income taxes at year end * Providing monthly financial statements for your review Our Enhanced Bookkeeping Services include all of the above, plus the following: * Preparing your accounts payable checks for your signature * Setting up files and tracking your inventory * Making sure that your bills are paid on time * Preparing invoices to send to your customers * Preparing collection letters for you to sign and send to your clients when required * Giving you reports to figure out who your most and least profitable customers are * Providing reports showing which areas of your business are the most/least profitable * Giving you detailed revenues, expense and employee associated with each one Included in our year-end plan: Our year-end plan includes placing your closing date for you. We will collaborate with your accountant to figure out a set of year-end actions that need to be done and prepare your QuickBooks file for your accountant and send it to them. We will work with your accountant to ensure they have all that they require to get your taxes ready. We'll clean up your company data file and close the books. We will then confirm that the year-end loss or profit is transferred to the Retained Earnings Account, and get you moving on the new year. We do all we can to make the tax season as painless as possible for you! Remember, end-of-the-year closing is a free service to customers enrolled in the Enhanced Bookkeeping Services and have taken part in the program throughout the current tax year. If you joined the Enhanced Bookkeeping Services scheme within the middle of tax year, you can still get the year-end plan at 50% off of the regular price! Included in our end-of-month plan: We reconcile bank and credit card statements. We handle any sales and payroll tax liabilities that require attention. We offer a monthly analysis of the Income Statement, Statement of Cash Flows, and Balance Sheet and verify agreement and reasonableness. We print the Trial Balance and confirm agreement. We scrutinize the General Ledger to discover errors and strange entries. We confirm credit and debit postings. We confirm End and Beginning of Period Balances. We scrutinize the Audit Trail Report for altered or erased transactions that might require attention. We analyze the General Journal Entries as well. We make adjusting Journal Entries for you. Remember, our month-end services are included without extra charge for Enhanced Bookkeeping Services clients.
