Introduction: I've been conducting weddings for more than fifteen years now in this area, and I really enjoy working with my couples and providing them the type of service that they have always dreamed of and wish to have.
If you have not yet found anybody to work with you and you are considering me, then there are numerous ways to go about this; however, the most excellent way usually is for us (all three of us) to meet at a local restaurant or bistro, so that we can make sure that we each want to work together.
If we agree that I am your preferred minister, then we can get your wedding plans together in person or via phone or email. I have basic wedding plans, services, etc. that we can talk about (sort of in a template format), that will allow you to ask questions and make changes as you see fit.
I really think that types of weddings, vows (I can help here if you wish), and service formats should be the choice of the bride and groom.
I am actually situated in Stem, North Carolina (just south of Oxford), about 20 miles north of Raleigh and Durham. If you can contact me with a time, etc., I will try to work my schedule around yours, so please inform as to what works best for the both of you and where would be a good place to meet.
I like to meet usually in a coffee shop or a restaurant, so we can be relaxed and talk for a short time and get to know one another. I live on a farm, and we have lots of animals -- horses, goats, ducks, geese, llamas, etc., so if you would like to visit me and meet me and my wife, then you're certainly more than welcome to do that, too. Please let me know what is best for you.
The average fee for wedding officiants in our area is $400 which covers all meetings, planning, rehearsal, ceremony, and any task you would like me involved in at the reception.
However, please be aware of this. I do not do this just for the money. I had my own computer business for many years, and I made a very comfortable living. I am now retired (sort of) and I do this because I simply enjoy being able to bring couples together.
