Introduction: Thank you for finding me online. I am honored to be part of your wedding plans and vow to keep your love at the heart of your ceremony. My name is Kenna Covington and I am a humanist celebrant. I am certified through the American Humanist Association to conduct humanist, secular, nonreligious, nontheistic and interreligious weddings. I love working with smart, quirky, and fun couples! Do you have a special location to be married, an awesome poem to be read that no one has ever heard of? Do you need to be married on the grass in your bare feet, at midnight with your closest friends around you? I'm game. Let's do this - it's your day and I want to help you make it happen! No two weddings are alike, and we will work together to develop a service that reflects your worldview and celebrates the unique people you are. I am here because there is a need for people to get married without going through a church or traditional religious avenues. I offer a secular service that is a million times warmer than the courthouse and will travel to be where you want to have it done. Marriage is important, it is a commitment, and you have not entered this decision lightly. I give your ceremony the respect and honor it deserves while keeping the mood down to earth and fun. My greater purpose in life is to bring joy and remove suffering. I want to be an Ambassador of love as I help you plan and execute your wedding ceremony. My personal goal is to make weddings better, to touch people’s hearts and help them remember all the love they’ve felt in their lifetime and channel it into good thoughts for both of you. I want everyone involved with your wedding to walk away from your service as advocates for your love and marriage. My values are kindness, compassion, love, and connection. I look forward to talking with you. Please visit my website or give me a call to discuss your vision for your very special day! Thank you for finding me online. I can't say enough about how wonderful Kenna was to work with. From our first emails to after our wedding day, she has been an absolute joy to work with. Kenna helped us craft the most perfect ceremony (seriously, multiple people told us it was the best ceremony they had ever seen). Kenna takes the time to get to know you and be apart of your wedding. She spent two hours with us at the rehearsal, going through every detail to make sure she had everything down perfect. Kenna not only officiated our wonderful ceremony, but she also gave us so much help along the way. She sent monthly emails with questions that helped her to get to know us better. She reminded us to apply for our marriage license, and gave us the address of the location closest to our home, and provided us with detailed instructions. After our wedding, she handled submitting our marriage license and even provided us with instructions on how to change my name. Kenna, thank you for making our ceremony so wonderful. We couldn't have done it without you!

We were looking for a sweet, secular ceremony for our wedding, and lucked upon finding Kenna. Now it's 3 days after the wedding, and we are very happy to have picked her! We met to talk about what was important to us in a ceremony, and she came in with questions and ideas about different customs, modern and traditional. that would make it feel not just like *a* wedding, but like *our* wedding. She was a great guide for designing the ceremony and figuring out the nitpicky "who does what, when?" questions. She had us write short responses to questions she had about Seri and I's past together. It was so she could weave details into the ceremony, but it was also fun to sit down and really think about why I was going to marry my fiancee. In the end, Kenna wrote a touching secular ceremony that we even got some compliments about later that day.
