FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I plan to get my Doctorate in Music Education in the future, and I keep up with developments through my memberships in American Choral Director's Association, and the National Association for Music Educator's. I plan to join also the National Association for Teachers of Singing.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew in the 7th grade I wanted to do something with music. I joined choir there and followed it all the way until I graduated from high school. I wanted to perform, but someone told me it was very difficult to break into the business, so I chose to go into teaching. I was petrified because I had no idea if I would be any good. I have never looked back and I am glad I made the decision I did!
