I recently became responsible for property that had been abandoned. The neighbors were not happy about the appearance of the place, and worse, squatters had begun to settle in. (It is a nice house in a decent neighborhood but it had been vacant for some time.) My plate was already overflowing with other demands and the sad shape of the interior and exterior was simply overwhelming.
Junk Pickup Truck to the rescue. JPT arrived on schedule and worked their magic in a couple of days. They placed a very large dumpster in the driveway and quite literally filled it with tons of debris. Per our agreement, they emptied the house and broom swept it clean. (No electricity.) On the outside, JPT sawed and cleaned up trees that had been felled by storms. They also carefully removed a tree that was leaning against the house. Several months prior, the crew that had inventoried and sold the contents of the house left a horrific mess in the backyard. Trash had been stuffed in bags but the plastic deteriorated and failed. That unpleasant business required removal by pitchfork and wheelbarrow.
Junk Pickup Truck made all the difference. My burden is lighter, the neighbors are happy and I am pleased to say that the house is now on the market. I could not be more pleased.
