Introduction: A Space To Call Home Interiors offers full service interior design and 3D modeling services in Wilmington, NC. Our goal is to work with YOU, our client, to identify YOUR personal design style and then create a custom design solution for YOUR home or office. Your space has the potential be a true reflection YOU. Most often, our clients tell us that they know what they like when they see something, but don't have the knowledge, time or skills to put that look together in their home. We work to truly understand what "speaks" to YOU, our client, (even if you are unsure sometimes) and use that knowledge to design a space that YOU and your family LOVE to live in. Seeing a client's eyes light up after they've seen the finished product is just about the best feeling in the world! People underestimate the impact a home or work space has upon their mood and general well-being. I know (and often have to remind myself) that my disposition and mood change dramatically when I'm pleased with what I'm seeing and conversely how little time I want to spend in a space when I'm not feeling the love. I get so excited when I can help my clients achieve that!

Rebecca was hired to help us with our living room. Until she came to our rescue, our room had sat in a style limbo. We bought pieces here and there but never came up with a true plan. Rebecca patiently listened to me and then asked poignant questions to determine what exactly we were looking for. Through all stages of the design process, Rebecca listened to our ideas and offered choices to make our room exactly what we wanted. She presented us with a 3D model of the room that literally allowed us to see her vision. We decided to make a trip to High Point to purchase some of the larger furniture pieces. Rebecca gave us a shopping list and recommendations for size & styles to take with us.We texted photos once we were there for her to approve or veto. Shopping for furniture for once was a pleasure! She also did an amazing job of keeping us on budget by including some of the pieces we already owned. We are beyond happy with how the room turned out and would recommend Rebecca to anyone looking for a cost effective designer with a great eye for style.

Rebecca did a great job decorating our living room, kitchen and dinning room. She took the time to learn what we liked and designed to meet our tastes. The computer generated designs that she showed us were very impressive and really helped us see what the space would look like.

In Home Consultations (60-75min) - $225 New Client Meeting for Full Service Interior Design Clients - $375 (1-2 hrs) Home Staging Property Preview - $275 (Include Custom Home Prep Checklist & Is Credited Towards Staging Package) Home Staging Packages - Average Cost 1-1.5% Home's Sale Price
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We usually begin with a phone call or email. If a client is local, we schedule a consultation to preview the space and review the WANTS/NEEDS list, take measurements and discuss how the space is used. If a client is not local, a meeting on SKYPE or FaceTime is scheduled. If it seems like sparks are flying between us we can move forward with design or staging contracts & then the real fun (design work) begins!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an degree in Architecture from Texas A&M University. I worked for 7 years in commercial architecture (schools, churches, offices, etc) before spending 4 years at a home staging company. I have many years experience choosing finishes (paint colors, counters, floors) and working with clients to achieve both form (beauty) AND function (how a space works).
