- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I base your initial price on the specifications you provide here on Thumbtack taking the basic cleaning tasks into account for the size of your house as well as how often you would like your house cleaned. I find that usually when I speak with a person initially that may be interested in hiring me they will let me know if they have any special cleaning needs beyond the usual cleaning tasks and anything that is special beyond whats covered by the Thumbtack specifications list. Of course, I'm always willing to meet with you before your first cleaning in order to give a firm quote. I like to work on the basis of a fixed fee for each cleaning and should you need any additional cleaning tasks I would add a fixed fee onto the quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would want to speak with you prior to your first cleaning and if needed visit you before our first cleaning so we can cover everything you wish to have done each time and any one time special tasks you may need. If you feel you have more than what you can provide here on Thumbtack, or you have more than normal furnishings or want additional tasks provided in your home we can go over it on the phone or I would be happy to meet with you to give you a firm quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I previously owned a residential cleaning business for close to 15 years and started my business back up again in 2013. I have also worked under other companies that provide residential and commercial cleaning services and for many years I had a contract to provide "move out" cleaning for a small apartment project. So I have over 20 years of on the job experience as well as the experience I gained from being a wife and mother to two children.
