Introduction: Before receiving my Esthetician license, I attended art school where I studied painting. I believe this has helped me to create makeup looks for my clients using both my background in fine art and Esthetics. I believe the most important aspect of this job is to listen to my client's wants to make their occasion truly memorable. To me, doing makeup is something I am excited about and it feels amazing to be able to turn my passion for art and cosmetics into a business. I also love having the chance to get to know clients and help them to really feel confident and bring out their natural beauty for whatever the occasion may be!

Kristin is an amazing artist that not only listens to her clients "wants" but also addresses their "needs". Kristin knows how to work with your features while showcasing the best of you through the make-up. I have always left her chair feeling more confident and more BEAUTIFUL then when I walked in the door. I adore Kristin and could not recommend a more talented makeup artist in our area!!! We are lucky to have her in Wilmington!

Ive had the pleasure of Kristin applying my makeup for several occassions - each application has been exceptional! She takes care to listen to what "look" you're going for, and most importantly asks if there's anything you dislike prior to beginning the process. I would highly recommend her services to my closest friends and family. With each makeup application I received countless compliments from several people - sometimes I wish she was my live-in makeup artist :)

Recently, Kristin did the make up for a bridal party I was a part of. She arrived early to set up her station, had a huge selection of makeup and was super professional and knowledgable. Kristin was full of wonderful suggestions but was also receptive to preferences and likes/dislikes. She was fun and easy to talk to! This was my first professional makeup experience and I came away feeling so beautiful and happy. The bridal party looked stunning! I would highly recommend Kristin! She's the best!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, to maintain my NC Esthetics license I am required to take 8 hrs. Of continuing education every year. In addition I am constantly buying and trying new makeup and skincare products to know what is the best out there.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been painting and drawing for as long as I can remember. Once I discovered lip gloss and mascara, I knew both fine art and makeup artistry would be my passions.
