Working with JR was a great experience, both for my physical health and my mental health. One of the first things he asked me was if I was willing to work hard during the workouts, so I knew right away that he takes what he does seriously. He listened to my goals and habits first, then based on that, he talked to me about eating plans that fit me. He even asks his clients to text him if they have questions, and that's really helpful for someone like me who struggles with the eating part of fitness (so he's received some texts of questionable cereal choices from me). And even though he's training all day, he still replies quickly. I lost 20 pounds and have been able to keep it off. I didn't even think it was possible for my body to look the way it did - it was better than when I was at my thinnest. The workouts are serious, JR will push you, but I'm grateful that he's so personable. I've been around other trainers who are really tough with you and kind of make you feel like you don't belong in the gym. That kind of training doesn't work for me, I would just get discouraged. I need someone who was going to tell me what to do, push me if they know I can do better, and then trust me to do that. That's how it was for me working with JR. I appreciate how flexible he is, he'll actually reach out and encourage you to come to classes, or if a session started late, let you schedule an extra one at no additional charge. I definitely recommend JR and I'm grateful for how much he influenced my overall WELLNESS. After working with him, my stress went down and it helped my self-esteem. His packages and the value you receive are worth it if you're ready to work!
The atmosphere here definitely feels positive, friendly, and inviting. Training sessions are pretty great as well! Just after a week and a half I started to feel amazing and saw some results. Great place to work out!
John is awesome! I started running 5ks and 10ks a few months after training with John and I went from a 12 minute mile to placing third in my age group at a strenuous 10k mountain trail race. I would have never been able to do that myself. I got more out of one session working with John than an entire month at Planet Fitness. Results aside, he is absolutely fantastic to talk to and he keeps the workouts fun and entertaining. Anyone serious about meeting their fitness goals needs to start here.
I’ve been training with Sissel several times a week for almost six months now and if it wasn’t for her encouragement, motivation, and personal attention to my workouts I wouldn’t be 45lbs lighter and feel better than I have in a really long time. If you’re looking for a true professional to hold you accountable even on your most unmotivated days then Sissel is who you need as your personal trainer. Highly recommend!
GREAT personal trainer! He knows what he is doing but doesn’t make everything too serious, you’ll laugh a lot throughout your sessions. I have only been to training sessions for less than a month but can see (and feel) results. Mason really looks out for the best in his clients.
I started training with Jody about two months ago, and I have lost 10 pounds!! I am a recent college graduate that was looking to get back into shape and lose the excess weight I've gained since joining the "real-world."
