Wedding Officiant
Rebecca was absolutely wonderful! She was very helpful and patient with us as we had her write our ceremony script and had a last minute rehearsal the day of our wedding. She is very responsive and kind and we are so happy we went with her as our officiant for our big day! Thanks for everything Rebecca!

Wedding Officiant
I like the fact that she listens to what the couple wants and delivers at a very high level. Very easy to talk to and very patient. I will recommend Rebecca in the future should the occasion arise. A very personable individual with all of the traits expected in a wedding officiant.
Sep 7, 2019VerifiedRev. Rebecca Ellen Augustine's replyMarland's son and his bride are wonderful people, and I was honored to officiate for them. The entire family worked to make their wedding day a one-of-a-kind celebration, not only for the bride and groom, but for everyone there. Many wishes for much happiness, Mr. and Mrs. L, and to your entire family!

Wedding Officiant
We contacted Rebecca a mere 11 days before we were to be married. She was a delight on the phone as we rambled on about our need for an officiant - somewhat at the last minute. My fiance and I live 200 miles apart, which made it more difficult to try to fit in a meeting with an officiant prior to our wedding. She had no issues with simply talking on the phone, as well as email exchange to learn more about us and our story about how we got to the point of wanting to get married. Rebecca certainly knocked it out of the park! It was a warm, loving and beautiful message that was very much personalized for "US!" Rebecca is "the one to hire" if you want an authentic, caring and kind individual! Thank you, Rebecca. You made our day fabulous! Candee & Mark

Wedding Officiant
From the very start, Rev. Rebecca showed her care and openness to personalize our ceremony. She always answered our questions promptly, wrote her ceremony script around our wants/needs, and even came early to do a rehearsal before the ceremony. We could not have asked for a better person to guide us into our marriage. She traveled a distance to perform our ceremony and even stayed for dinner! Her compassion and generosity was evident from the start. We highly recommend her!
Oct 5, 2020VerifiedRev. Rebecca Ellen Augustine's replyRyan and Darcie are warm and gracious, and bring joy into every interaction. They were incredibly easy to work with. They wanted their young son to be part of their ceremony, and took the time to bring him into their vows and sand ceremony. Wishing the three of you many years of happiness together, Mr. and Mrs. H!

FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Not every wedding takes the same amount of time for a minister to plan and carry out on behalf of the couple; so my price is an estimate. Contact me so we can visit about what you need. When we first visit, we can discuss what will be involved, and any pricing. When I do give you a price, that includes everything, including travel, preparation, communication with you, writing your ceremony (to the extent that we agree upon) and everything else. You will know by the end of our first meeting exactly what the price will be, and you will not be expected to pay anything more unless you make changes we all agree upon. You will never be surprised by unexpected charges. I offer a 15% discount to medical personnel, to veterans and active military personnel, and to emergency response personnel (firefighters, EMTs, etc.); I offer a 10% discount to reiki, qigong, EFT/TFT, Quantum Touch, and other energy practitioners. Ask if you qualify!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First, we discuss the couple's needs and desires for their wedding ceremony. We look at their options for their ceremony; and the couple decides whether they feel I am a good fit for them. If so, then we start the process of planning and then writing the ceremony, including all the details of how the ceremony will go, and who does what when, culminating in the rehearsal (if the couple chooses to have one). The couple and I will know exactly how things will go on the day of the wedding well before the day arrives.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am an ordained interfaith minister and chaplain. I am a United Methodist (UMC) by practice but am ordained through the Universal Life Church (ULC) so I can officiate weddings for those outside mainline Christianity without conflict with denominational beliefs. I do not pastor a church; that is not my gift. I earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and emergency management, then graduated from seminary (not ULC). My dissertation discussed the socially constructed perceptual frameworks that cause us to accept specific sensory inputs and ignore others, and how this process informs our belief systems. personal development, and spiritual growth. I am a professional member of the First Responder Chaplain Division of the Spiritual Care Association, a member of the Association of Professional Chaplains, and a member of the Order of St Luke, a Methodist lay contemplative order. I am also a Reiki master teacher, Qigong healer, a master EFT/TFT practitioner, an energy worker, and a professional member of the Reiki Healing Association.
