She was absolutely wonderful to work with. We got to meet with her before the ceremony and then on the big day everything went very smoothly.Sep 15, 2020VerifiedRev. Rebecca Ellen Augustine's reply

Rebecca was very easy to work with and so very accommodating. She was very helpful early in our planning in providing sample scripts and also really letting us decide how we wanted our ceremony to look.Sep 21, 2020VerifiedRev. Rebecca Ellen Augustine's reply

Rev Rebecca was wonderful. As the bride I was running late and she was very patient. I believe she truly likes to preform wedding ceremonies and see people happy. She made our wedding day very special. I highly recommend her.Jul 16, 2019VerifiedRev. Rebecca Ellen Augustine's reply
Sue Ellen and Bruce were delightful to work with, and so was their theme! It was a pleasure to perform their ceremony for them. Many wishes for much happiness, Mr and Mrs M!

Did an amazing job with very short notice. We had an officiant that fell through and Rev Rebecca responded right away. Had a nice sit down talk and explained what we wanted and a little about ourselves. She took this information and made a personal ceremony for us. I would highly recommend Rev Rebecca if you are ever looking for an officiant. We are not very religious and she was able to make a ceremony that fit us and possessed a heartfelt message. Without her timely help our day would have had a very different outcome. Thanks again so much.Jun 11, 2019VerifiedRev. Rebecca Ellen Augustine's reply
Bradley and Nicholle were sweet and responsive, accommodating my scheduling conflict, too. They worked with me to take care of the details, and did it all with smiles despite an unexpected short timeline. They are both beautiful people, and I'm honored to have been able to officiate their ceremony for them. Many wishes for much happiness together, Mr and Mrs K!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Not every wedding takes the same amount of time for a minister to plan and carry out on behalf of the couple; so my price is an estimate. Contact me so we can visit about what you need. When we first visit, we can discuss what will be involved, and any pricing. When I do give you a price, that includes everything, including travel, preparation, communication with you, writing your ceremony (to the extent that we agree upon) and everything else. You will know by the end of our first meeting exactly what the price will be, and you will not be expected to pay anything more unless you make changes we all agree upon. You will never be surprised by unexpected charges. I offer a 15% discount to medical personnel, to veterans and active military personnel, and to emergency response personnel (firefighters, EMTs, etc.); I offer a 10% discount to reiki, qigong, EFT/TFT, Quantum Touch, and other energy practitioners. Ask if you qualify!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First, we discuss the couple's needs and desires for their wedding ceremony. We look at their options for their ceremony; and the couple decides whether they feel I am a good fit for them. If so, then we start the process of planning and then writing the ceremony, including all the details of how the ceremony will go, and who does what when, culminating in the rehearsal (if the couple chooses to have one). The couple and I will know exactly how things will go on the day of the wedding well before the day arrives.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am an ordained interfaith minister and chaplain. I am a United Methodist (UMC) by practice but am ordained through the Universal Life Church (ULC) so I can officiate weddings for those outside mainline Christianity without conflict with denominational beliefs. I do not pastor a church; that is not my gift. I earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and emergency management, then graduated from seminary (not ULC). My dissertation discussed the socially constructed perceptual frameworks that cause us to accept specific sensory inputs and ignore others, and how this process informs our belief systems. personal development, and spiritual growth. I am a professional member of the First Responder Chaplain Division of the Spiritual Care Association, a member of the Association of Professional Chaplains, and a member of the Order of St Luke, a Methodist lay contemplative order. I am also a Reiki master teacher, Qigong healer, a master EFT/TFT practitioner, an energy worker, and a professional member of the Reiki Healing Association.
