- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been performing lawn and landscape services since the age of 11 in one form or another. My father put me behind a lawn mower at the age of 11 and it was green light go from then on. I beagan landscaping my folks property and then began doing work for the neighbors while I was a teenager. I read books and also learned much of the trade from a family friend. I decided to go to college in my twneties as I had tution paid for by the VA as a military dependent. I recieved a bachelors degree and preceded to work in the historic preservation field. The Construction industry collapsed in 2008 and I concentrated full time on lawn and landscaping as it was another love of mine. I haven't looked back and look forward to the future. I currently am working on renovating my current house and spend much of the winter renovating my home unless it snows of course! I have a versatile amount of knowledge in the Lawn and Landscape industry and the construction trades. If I can't perform maintenance or construction in any form I know someone that can!

- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Always choose a company that listens to your needs. Communication is key in ensuring everyone is on the same page and the work being performed is in accordance with what was agreed upon. Always tell the service provider everything you want done.
