Immediately following each session, Mel will meet with parents and/or students to review their child's progress. Mel uses the curriculum of the student's classroom. Mel will not introduce new material that will only further overwhelm an already struggling student. Mel will work with currently assigned classroom homework and scheduled examinations, supplementing their existing curriculum as needed. Most importantly, Mel’s students are allowed to work at their own pace. Mel currently offers tutoring in mathematics and statistics. Mel schedules tutoring at times that is convenient to students and parents -- morning, afternoon, evening, weekends and summers -- in the convenience of your own home.
